Binfer review5/18/2023 ![]() Underworks is always the brand I suggest for those in the US or Canada because they're one of the cheapest but most experienced and high quality brands on the market. I've heard the complaint about the material a lot, as did the company, so they make cotton lined ones now to help with that. That's interesting about Underworks! I personally had a really good experience with them, I loved that you could machine wash and dry them and the neckline was wide enough that it didn't show under shirts. If anyone has any questions, reach out to me in the comments! I hope this helped!Įdit: All of the binders in this post were a size medium (I don’t remember the terms For Them used for their sizes). I hate that, but again, it's a swim top so I'm not too picky. It's like a sports bra with tight elastic around the bottom, which pushes everything up. This almost doesn't bind at all, but I'm not terribly picky when swimming (this is a swim binder). OutPlay: If I remember correctly, I got the solid compression top. The arm holes are a little narrow so I can see that rubbing after extended use, but this might be an excellent binder for those people who can't stand itchy binders. It has the same construction as a gc2b binder, with the binding panel up front and stretchy fabric in the back. To be fair, it might be the style I got (tri-top, I think), so if another person has a better experience, drop it in the comments!įytist: Wow this binder is soft! The quality seems good, but then again I haven't worn it for an extended period. It binds well, but it's super scratchy and tight, almost making me feel like it's dangerous for extended use. I'm still not as flat as I'd like because the sizing is a little off, but it isn't terribly uncomfortable for extended use. It binds well and it's definitely on par with how gc2b used to be. On first impression, it seems a lot like a gc2b binder but perhaps slightly stiffer. Spectrum Outfitters: After hearing everyone talk this company up, I had to get one. It didn't hurt and I barely noticed its presence, but its binding ability makes it not super worth it for me. It binds a step up from a sports bra, so I mostly used it for work. As a person with a relatively medium-sized chest, this didn't bind a whole lot for me. This of course comes with its pros and cons. Since I've seen so many posts about gc2b's quality lately, I wanted to make a post reviewing some alternatives so that people can make informed decisions when buying their next binder.įor Them: This binder is really soft, breathable, and stretchy all around.
